ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to develop a novel subgingival sustained-release system for local delivery bioactive minocycline hydrochloride periodontal disease treatment in dogs. incorporated the Minocycline hydrochloride-Calcium-Dextran sulfate sodium into thermoresponsive Pluronic F127 hydrogel. sustained release from up 10 days and kinetics fit power law model. medium had significant statistical difference antimicrobial activity Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans. results showed promising
